Scope and Contents
Dr. Matthew Schott collected material pertaining to German Prisoners of War Camps in Louisiana. These camps include Camp Polk, Camp Livingston, Camp Plauche, Camp Ruston and Camp Claiborne.
This collection consists of photographs, correspondence, reports, and publicity, including news clippings, and articles. It also contains videotapes of a reunion held in May 1984 taken by NBC News.
Dr. Matthew Schott donated this collection. Sonya Glass donated the Herbert Sobiella items.
