S correspondence, January 1916 - October 1917
Scope and Contents
Series B contains general correspondence and subject files from the beginning of RFB's Senate term in March 1915 to March 1918, a short time before his death.
Folders 81-5 to 81-11 contain correspondence between RFB in New Iberia and his Washington office from October 1917 to March 1918, when his health was declining.
The "personal" category in the subject files contains some 1906 material carried over from House files. The "War, State, Treasury" category includes correspondence related to the State, Treasury, and War Departments.
All of Series B is available on microfilm.
