Scope and Contents
These volumes contain news clippings, photographs, copies of vital records, research notes, correspondence, and genealogical charts pertaining to the Barras family in France and Louisiana. The first volume of the Barras series contains an index to the other Barras volumes. All of the volumes are arranged using Clement Bourgeois Jr.’s “tab” system (each tab level is a separate generation; each page represents a single family group). Date reanges: 1720s-1970s.
