Scope and Contents
This collection consists of scrapbooks ranging from 1949 to 1995, which includes clippings, correspondence, photographs, certificates, flyers, annual programs, etc. In addition, there is a handwritten minute book that consists of the minutes of meetings from 1955-1957.

Biographical / Historical
The L’Heure de Musique Club of Lafayette was organized in 1949. This club is a member of the National Federation of Music Clubs. The scope of this organization is the furtherance of musical interest in Lafayette and the earnest study of music in all its phases, for the mutual benefit of its members.
The club has regular monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of each month. One portion of the meeting is devoted to business and afterwards there is a musical program. The officers consist of President, Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, Treasurer, and Parliamentarian. There are also standing committees such as Program, Membership, Attendance, and Courtesy.
