Biographical / Historical
Acadiana Neuf was a non-profit organization which acted as the official anti-poverty agency in Lafayette, Acadia, Iberia, St. Landry, St. Martin, and Vermilion Parishes. It was funded by the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964. This organization provided services, assistance, and engaged in other activities aimed at trying to eliminate poverty in the region.
