This collection contains Mardi Gras memorabilia Mr. Crombie has collected over the years, mainly necklaces and doubloons. Mr. Crombie began collecting the doubloons in 1960.

Biographical / Historical

Paul Crombie was born and raised on Algiers Point in New Orleans, LA. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from University of Southwestern Louisiana (now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette) in 1977 and a Master’s degree in American Studies from University of Dallas in 2006. He has taught at Edison State as an Adjunct Professor of Humanities and is an award-winning artist and graphic designer. He currently lives in Nashville, TN.
