Biographical / Historical
The Idonian Club was a women’s club organized in Lafayette, LA September 1948. There were 12 charter members and total membership was limited to (25) twenty-five active members. The purpose of this organization was the study of the Bible and promotion of growth in Christian character. It was associated with the Louisiana Federation of Women’s Clubs, District 3. There is material about this organization in the collection especially the clippings and scrapbooks.
