Aline Arceneaux donated the bulk of this collection. Elaine Pellissier contributed many of the award booklets.

Biographical / Historical
The Lafayette Garden Club first organized in 1930 and became a member of the National Federation of Garden Clubs in 1940. It is also a member of the National Council of State Garden Clubs, Inc. and the Louisiana Garden Club Federation, Inc. The club’s stated objectives are the advancement of gardening and the encouragement of civic and roadside beautification in cooperation with its state and national organizations.
