Collection
Identifier: UAAMC-COLL-0136
Scope and Contents
Audrey Birdhill, a resident of Houma, Louisiana, created these scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings. The clippings originate mainly from New Orleans papers and concern Louisiana and New Orleans politics. Ms. Birdhill, who emphasized corruption, entitled her scrapbooks, "Louisiana Political Corruption.”
There were originally 13 volumes in the series; only 7 were microfilmed. The Microfilm Department of Edith Garland Dupré Library microfilmed the scrapbooks in 1974. Reel 1 is negative, and Reel 2 is positive.
