Biographical / Historical

Dreamcatchers were items made in some Native American cultures. Mostly found in the Great Plains areas of Canada and the United States, dreamcatchers hoops with woven nets that are designed to catch and trap bad dreams. Good dreams would go through the center hole. During the Pan-Indian movement of the 1960s and 1970s, dreamcatchers were also seen as a symbol of unity among different Native American cultures.
