This collection contains records of LISA and LCC. Material from LISA includes correspondence, minutes from Board of Directors meetings, annual meeting material, and miscellaneous items. Material from LCC include correspondence, commission meeting minutes and minute books, committees' reports, publicity and publications, legal material, and miscellaneous information. The collection is arranged chronologically. LISA donated the records for UAAMC to be the designated repository.

This collection contains three separate series of documents collected by Woodrow Marshall. The first are several 18th century legal documents from Great Britain written on sheepskin. The second series contains miscellaneous financial reports and correspondence of the Castillo Family of New Orleans and St. Martinville, 1837-1897. Third are miscellaneous papers related to Alexander Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge, 1873-1889, n.d.
