This collection contains Mr. Baudouin’s personal papers, which are divided into two major series: personal files and working files. The personal files include certificates, correspondence, notes, postcards, and some education material. The working files include his writings, materials on education and politics, photographs, and audiovisual materials.

Scope and Contents The collection reflects Bradshaw’s work in journalism and his interest in local history. There are texts for columns he wrote for The Morning Star and the Daily Advertiser, and editorials for the Daily World. The subject files contain material he has gathered or that was sent to him regarding local history. Brochures were generally removed and sent to the Louisiana Room for the Vertical File. Photocopies of publications held in the Special Collections Department were also removed....

This collection contains the writings of Alton Broussard. The first volume is the entire "Lafayette Guide" newspaper. The two scrapbooks contain his articles from other newspapers, such as the "Daily Advertiser." The list of “Points of Interests in the 'Lafayette Guide'” were compiled by Sam Broussard.

Alton Broussard’s children, Mary Perrin, Sam, and Alton “Skip” II, and his son-in-law, Warren Perrin, donated this collection.

Scope and Contents This collection includes numerous articles written by Mrs. Craig, as well as articles about her numerous civic engagements. Also included are newspaper clippings, correspondence, photographs, and personal documents related to the life and work of Myrta Fair Craig. In addition to running a local newspaper, Mrs. Craig was responsible for the creation of the Rayne Frog Festival and had served as the festival’s grand marshal. Almost everything in the collection is a photocopy of either publications or documents from the Kurtz Collection at the Louisiana Research Library, Tulane University. There is also a framed portrait of M. Gentil.

Mrs. Olympe (Mrs. William) Butcher of Lafayette gathered the material and donated it to UAAMC.

This collection reflects the career of Ron Gomez. It contains political documents, newspaper clippings, and typed and recorded interviews that reflect his leadership throughout his career. It also contains banners, posters, and stickers for voting purposes when he was running for mayor of Lafayette against Kenny Bowen.

This collection contains an unpublished reminiscence of Hebert’s broadcasting career "The Radio Ramblings of a Cajun Boy Named Roy" and tapes from programs he hosted. All the paper material in the collection are photocopies.

The first part of his working files pertain to Athletics and the second part pertains to horse racing from the period when he was the publicity director at Evangeline Downs.
