Biographical / Historical
Frances Taylor Love was the Director of the Art Museum at the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana at Lafayette) from 1965 to 1983. She and her husband John served on the Lafayette Bicentennial Commission as co-chairs. From 1983 and 1993, Ms. Love was associate publisher for Travelhost of Acadiana, a monthly magazine, and published several book and articles. Love was a true promoter and supporter of local artists in Lafayette community for 45 years.
