The homecoming doubloons were printed by the Sigma Nu fraternity in 1970 to commemorate the creation of Cajun Field. The 1971 doubloons launched the first year a football game was played at the new field. The collection also contains the dies used to design the doubloons. The original die contains artist renditions of original Cajun Field Drawings; the 1971 die depicts the Southland Conference members.

The blueprints and building specifications present the plans for a house built for M. L. “Tigue” Moore, Jr., former UL Lafayette baseball coach for whom the baseball field was named. Lourdes Hospital purchased the property, and a developer moved the house to Congress St.

The collection also includes a 1977 scrapbook entitled “Research and Romance of Medicine” from the Lafayette Parish Medical Society. It includes an historical essay by Dr. Harry L. Griffin entitled “Doctors and Disease Lafayette Parish, 1800 to the Present.”
