Scope and Contents From the Collection: This collection contains correspondence, publications, and photographs dealing with the 1957 bicentennial and the 250th celebration of the Marquis de Lafayette’s birth. Thomas J. Arceneaux, who represented the city and parish of Lafayette during the celebration in France, donated most of the material.
