This collection, compiled by a Carencro High School student, contains clippings dealing with overseas military events of World War II. Most of the articles were taken from the New Orleans and local newspapers but are not identified.
This collection was transferred to SAMC/UAAMC from the USL History Department.

This collection consists of Dr. Gentry's professional and research files. A large portion of the collection consists of material she gathered for a grant called “Acadian History.” These materials include data collection of land grants, original acts, baptisms, marriages, and funerals.
Girard Family. Papers, 1793-2019, n.d.
This collection contains genealogy materials of members of the Girard and Crow families collected by Edward Crow Girard. There is also a framed design from Mr. Girard commemorating the university's centennial.
Edward Crow Girard donated the collection.
Hanks, Amanda S. (1913-2003). Collection, 1927, 1970-1991, n.d.
This collection contains personal items from a scrapbook - mainly clippings and photographs. It also contains 3 years of the "Kaplan Sentinel Newsletter" which Hanks edited, and records of the Evangeline Canal Company, including minutes and legal records. This company was headquartered in Kaplan, LA.
Amanda S. Hanks loaned most of this collection to SAMC (now UAAMC) to be photocopied. Whitney Broussard delivered the collection.

This collection consists of oral histories conducted in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana. Some of the oral histories have been transcribed.

This collection contains correspondence, histories, a few photographs, and scrapbooks of newspaper clippings.
One part of this collection has been photocopied and microfiched. Virginia Yongue loaned the originals to UAAMC. The other part of this collection are originals that donated to UAAMC.

This collection consists of drafts of Dr. Rice’s dissertation titled, “The Negro in Texas, 1874-1900.” Other items correspondence, materials from his times at Navarro Junior College, and items related to the Texas Historical Association.
