This collection contains microfilm copies of civil records from Ascension Parish from the 18th and 19th centuries.

The records were filmed in 1971 by the Southwestern Archives and Manuscripts Collection for the Center for Louisiana Studies as an extension of the Colonial Louisiana Records Collection. That collection was transferred to the University Archives and Acadiana Manuscript Collection in 2013.

Conrad in 1973. These are on 16mm microfilm. There are two copies of each. The other records, on 35mm film, were filmed by Southern Microfilm Corporation in 1989.
