This collection consists of toys that belonged to the daughters of Jared Young and Elizabeth Alzira Wofford Sanders. Also included is a photograph of Jared Young Sanders III, Governor of Louisiana from 1908-1912.
Mary Elizabeth Sanders, great-granddaughter of Jared Young and Elizabeth Alzira Wofford Sanders, donated the collection in 1974.

Dorothy Ann Scalco is a published photographer of black and white photographs. She focuses on “Louisiana Life” and “Historical Documentary” Photographs. The National Museum of Women in the Arts has recognized her work. She received her B.S. at Nicholls Start University in 1979.
