A large portion of the papers include written notes, in both English and French, on Louisiana history, people, cultures, folksongs, and dances. Many of these notes contain sources that she utilized for her research. Additional series include materials on linguistics and education, correspondence, publications from Dr. Brandon and other colleagues, and notecards listed in alphabetical order containing useful resources.
