Scope and Contents
This collection contains records from selected Orleans Parish Notaries between 1739 and 1928. Colonial period Notaries include J.B. Garic, Esteban De Quinones, Fermin Hernandez, Pedro Pedesclaux, Fernando Rodriguez and Carlos Ximenes.
These records were microfilmed by the Genealogical Society of Salt Lake City, Utah. The film was acquired by the Center for Louisiana Studies as an extension of the Colonial Louisiana Records Collection. That collection was transferred to the University Archives and Acadiana Manuscript Collection in 2013.
